Adoption Studies:

Adoption studies allow evolutionary psychologists to see whether or not an individual who was separated at birth is more influenced by biological factors (real parents) or environmental factors (adoptive parents). This also allows these psychologists to discover whether nature or nurture has a more influential impact on children. The study demonstrates that nature is a more significant part of the developmental process of adolescents. Although nature does play a vital role in behavior, adoption studies do show signs that adoptive parents place behaviors into their adopted children through values, manner, faith, and other nurturing factors.
