Evolutionary Psychology:

Evolutionary Psychology is a type of psychology in which human thoughts and actions, or in other words, the human body and mind are analyzed in terms of genes and natural selection. Genes are DNA segments that form the chromosomes of a cell, which are the biochemical units of heredity. Psychologists need to study evolution because it has become an important part of Biology. For example, evolution is important in relating how people of the Stone Age transferred their successful survival and reproducing genes into the future. However, some individuals believe that evolutionary psychologists make too many "hindsight explanations". In addition, evolutionary psychology focuses on the composition of the human body, with the properties of the nervous system along with the brain being the two main compositions. Both the nervous system and the brain help the body survive and reproduce. To conclude, organisms of certain populations will tend to receive traits that benefit not only themselves, but also their future generations, while the organisms lose traits that are a hinderance.
